In this 1977 relaunch of the Sasori line, Yoko Natsuki takes on the mantle of Female Prisoner Scorpion (last played by Yumi Takigawa after being established by Meiko Kaji) as a nurse framed for a politicians murder following his threats to expose corrupt practices at her hospital. She escapes from jail but is captured and sent back. Director Yutaka Kohira had been a 2nd unit director on the original run of Meiko Kaji films as well as an assistant director to Kinji Fukasaku on Graveyard of Honor.
