Wiliams III) on his critically acclaimed run on Batman–years before his collaboration with Alan Moore on Promethea, and his career-best run on Batwoman in Detective Comics. Bruce Wayne, Vesper Fairchild, and Lung Wang’s Green Dragon of Chaos fed the plot in this page that provided a visual prototype for the Jurnee Smollett-Bell version of Dinah Lance (Black Canary) in the Birds of Prey film. This innovative layout with circular panels flanking a central image foreshadows the incredible work that still yet to come.
