Description

Reprinted in the Tales of the Batman Omnibus.

Rare splash page from one of the most important comic artists of the modern era (J.H. Wiliams III) on his critically acclaimed run on Batman–years before his collaboration with Alan Moore on Promethea, and his career-best run on Batwoman in Detective Comics. Bruce Wayne, Vesper Fairchild, and Lung Wang’s Green Dragon of Chaos fed the plot in this page that provided a visual prototype for the Jurnee Smollett-Bell version of Dinah Lance (Black Canary) in the Birds of Prey film. This innovative layout with circular panels flanking a central image foreshadows the incredible work that still yet to come.

This is definitely the least expensive J.H. Williams splash page on the market.
