A masterpiece of Sukeban cinema, TGHS: Lynch Law Classroom opens like an Italian giallo film and explodes with some of the best action choreography of the Pinky Violence genre culminating in a coda that is a direct predecessor to the American teenage films of the late 70s & 80s –specifically Over the Edge with pieces of River’s Edge and Heathers. The shocking-for-the-time critique of political corruption that leads to a full-scale riot showcases one of the best pairings of Reiko Ike & Miki Sugimoto in a film that could only come from director Norifumi Suzuki.
